Get a Free Mario Game when you Buy a 3DS from Best Buy

I’m a huge gamer so I just had to write about this deal going on at Best Buy. Right now when you buy a Nintendo 3DS, you get one of three Mario titles for free. That’s a $40 value for nothing (well, nearly anyway) and in this frugal day and age, saving money is always in style. It doesn’t say if it’s only available online, but unless it’s specifically marked, these types of deals are usually available in-store as well. For those of you that would like to know more about the 3DS, visit the official Nintendo 3DS website to learn more about this handheld device.

I have yet to try the 3DS, but I do own a DS from when it first came out and one of my favorite things about it was that it had “Backwards Compatibility”; meaning that you could use games from an older system on your newer one. The 3DS features the same thing where you can still use your DS games in your new 3DS system. Older games tend to be much, much cheaper but are still fun. My niece loves my DS and she adores anything involving Pokemon, so I managed to snag some older games for a measly $3 each.

The following games are available for this offer:

  • Mario Tennis Open
  • Super Mario 3D Land
  • Mario Kart 7

To get this deal online, add the game you would like to your cart and the discount will be applied when you check out. Don’t forget that Best Buy also price-matches for 30 days prior or after you buy the item. If the 3DS goes on sale somewhere else, they will match it and give you an additional 10% of the difference. This sale is over June 28th, 2012.
